| Environment-resistive (IP67) I/O terminals with fault-detection and maintenance functions • Equipped with the standard Smart Slave functions for preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. • Conforms to IP67 standards. The terminal housing is also oil- and spatter-resistant. • The DeviceNet power supply is used by input devices to power the sensors. A extra power supply is not needed for this. (An extra power supply is required for output devices.) • The terminal detects shortcircuits and broken wires in the cables of the sensors and actuators. In case of a fault the terminal notifies the master. |
